Square Scallop Mothers Day Boxes

You know me, when I like something I get on a "kick" and I make a lot!
I am loving vintage looking paper, the square scallop die cut and making scrunched flowers!
I used the square scallop bigz die and the pennant die for these boxes..  I also used the small and large scallop circle punches, cardstock and water for the scrunched flowers.  These will make nice little gift boxes for Mother's Day!

Side note on a clever idea I saw today.  A vendor used one of these candle holders for her business cards. I knew I had seen them at Ross, so I ran right over and got my very own for $2.99.
I think it is cute clever and different!
I hope you are having a great week!

Square Scallop Vintage Box

I think one of my favorite things about Stampin' Up die cuts is how many different things you can make with each one.
Take the square scallop die for instance, I have made everything from a rag quilt purse to this cute little vintage looking box!
I am still loving the Morning Mocha paper so I used it again. With a large scallop circle and small circle scallop punch, paper and some water, you can crinkle up these cute flowers!
Looking forward to making many more of these cuties!

I hope you have had a great week!
We are looking forward to a "summer" like weekend!

Thank You and Happy Birthday!

I was lagging a little on my Thank You cards to Julia and Judy (the craft twins) and I have 3 cousins birthdays to celebrate this Saturday. Had to get busy!!
I am a big fan of black and white, my second favorite colors are black and beige, so I am loving the Mocha Morning paper pack.
Used the Mocha Morning paper to make the Thank You and Birthday cards. I am loving this paper!!

Wanted to make a little gift to go with the Birthday cards.
I got to use my brand new Scallop Envelope Bigz Die (think I will be using that one A LOT!!)
Using the Mocha Morning paper I made these cute little envelopes and matching flower magnets. I sure hope my cousins like their cards and gifts! I do! :)
For the magnet I used the Blossom and Boho Blossoms punches. (more of my favorite new tools!)

Have a great week!

Happy Easter and a Big Thank You!!!

First things first, a big huge thank you to my good friend and mentor Julia! She wanted to be sure that as a new demonstrator I had a very important tool in my collection!
She bought me the Stampin' up score tool and the diagonal plate to go with it!
I don't know how I managed without these great tools!!! I can now make my own envelopes to match my cards!!! And that is only the beginning! More to come!

I had already made these Easter cards for my parents and mother-in-law. This morning I took out my new handy scoring tool and diagonal plate and made matching envelopes. I am sure they will love these!!!!

Have a Happy Easter!

Business Card/Gift Card Holder

Julia brought one of of these cute little card holders over Saturday. I had to have the directions to make them! Julia was able to get the directions from Wilda .
I put my business card on one side and made a cute little flower magnet for the other side to give as thank yous for my first workshop orders.
These will also be perfect for Mother's day with a gift card on one side and a flower magnet on the other side. Can't wait to make more!!!
Thanks Julia and Wilda for this one!!!
(These are very very easy to make, drop on over to Wilda's if you want directions!)
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Stampin' up student to teacher

I have hosted Stampin' Up Workshops at home over the last few years since my friend Julia became a demonstrator.
Saturday I was the demonstrator for the first time! I want to show people how fun and easy papercrafting is.
I got tremendous support from Julia and her sister Judy, my husband and my crafting buddy and new demonstrator as well Dawn.
Although I was my own best customer (does the wish list ever get smaller?) and I was a little nervous it went fairly well. We made 2 cards, a cute carrot and a cute mini milk carton.

The blue flower card was inspired by Nikki Toll . I apologize to the clever crafter who showed the carrot, I can't remember where I saw it. All 4 of these projects were easy!
